How to choose ventilation for your custom range hood:
1. Three Different Ventilation Systems:
- Internal: Mostly used and easier to install. Internal Motor is contained in the liner, which is installed inside the hood. Vent to the outdoors through duct either from back or top of the range hood.
- Remote: Remote blower is located outside the hood & liner, usually in an attic, basement, or exterior of the home etc. Quieter than an internal motor while requires more complex installation. Remote ventilation often requires more space and planning.
- Ductless: As its name, ductless ventilation does not require ductwork at all. Using a filter instead to capture grease, smoke and odors, then recirculates fresh air back into the kitchen. The filters need to be cleaned or replaced regularly to maintain the effectiveness.

2. About CFM (aka. Cubic Feet per Minute):
- CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) measures the airflow capacity of a ventilation system. A higher CFM indicates greater airflow and stronger suction power. A 600 CFM is generally sufficient for most regular kitchen cooking needs.
- Keep in mind that CFM requiremens may vary by states due to specific building codes. To ensure compliance and function, we recommend consulting your HVAC or contractor to determine the appropriate CFM level for your ventilation system.
- Before install a insert, please power on to make sure the vent and light can function properly.
- Connect the duct first, then wires to the vents, gently lift the insert inside the hood and assemble the insert to the range hood from both sides by screws.

1. Wipe After Use
Clean your brass sink with a soft cloth, warm water, and gentle dish soap. Dry with a towel to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
2. Avoid Abrasive Tools
Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh scrubbers that can scratch the surface.
3. Prevent Tarnishing
Brass develops a natural patina over time. Polish regularly with brass cleaner or a vinegar-baking soda mix to maintain its shine.
4. Avoid Acidic Substances
Don’t leave acidic items like lemon juice, vinegar, or tomatoes on the sink, as they can cause discoloration or corrosion.
5. Avoid Bleach and Chlorine
Never use bleach or chlorine-based cleaners on brass, as they can damage the surface.
7. Avoid Long-Term Food Contact
Don’t leave food or utensils in the sink for extended periods to prevent stains and loss of shine.
8. Check for Wear
Inspect your sink regularly for scratches or discoloration and address issues promptly to prevent further damage.

When selecting the appropriate sink size for your kitchen, it is crucial to take accurate measurements of both the cabinet and the sink to ensure a proper fit and optimal functionality. The following is a detailed, step-by-step guide to assist you in measuring your sink.
1. Measure the Cabinet Width
Begin by measuring the interior width of your cabinet. This measurement serves as the foundational reference for determining which sink will fit within the available space. Ensure that you account for any molding, structural components, or other obstructions inside the cabinet that may impact the available space for the sink.
2. Measure the Sink Dimensions
- Sink Width: measure the width of the sink from one outer edge to the other. For rectangular or square sinks, measure from left to right at the widest point. For round or oval sinks, measure the diameter at the widest part. This measurement will ensure the sink will fit within the cabinet's allotted space.
- Sink Depth: measure from the top edge of the sink to the bottom of the basin. This measurement is especially important for undermount sinks, as it influences both their functionality and installation requirements. It is essential to ensure the depth is sufficient to allow for proper water flow while avoiding excessive splashing.
- Sink Height: for drop-in sinks (which are installed above the countertop), measure from the base of the sink to the top edge. This ensures the sink's height is suitable for the space above and below the countertop.
3. Verify Fit and Functionality
After taking these measurements, carefully confirm that the sink will fit comfortably within the cabinet, leaving adequate space for plumbing, water flow, and other essential components. It is also important to consider additional features, such as faucet holes or drain placements, as these may require specific measurements to ensure proper alignment and installation.
By following these steps, you can confidently select a sink that will fit seamlessly into your cabinet space while meeting your functional requirements.
